My research activities focus on developing effective trauma focused interventions for a range of different client groups. Current research activities include:
– Investigating the efficacy of psychoeducational interventions for complex interpersonal trauma.
– Investigating the efficacy of interventions for violent and repeat female offenders.
– Understanding the connection between interpersonal trauma, offending and early maladaptive schemas
– Understanding the role of compassion in therapeutic responses to offending and trauma
